The time has come to elect a new Imperial Regent and Polly Siffan has had her sights set on the title for quite some time now. Little did she know about secret wheelings and dealings inside the Senate brokered by the powerful Senator Danq, nowadays dubbed regent-maker. Still, since she controlled the Imperial capital city and the See of the Senate, she managed to secure her election, but only through bribery and blackmail.

Having been elected Regent, she called her long time friend and roommate at the university, Professor Morrisa who now had under her control a powerful army of machines and cyborgs. The two friends quickly agreed that the most dangerous threat for their agenda of scientific research and the free flow of information was the fundamentalist doctrine promoted by Reverend Ken Banobi. They agreed to combine their forces and destroy fanaticism in the Universe once and for all.

Once again it took some overriding of already issued and perfectly legal orders before Professor Morrisa could launch almost the entire fleet belonging to Colony I against their intended target.


Polly Siffan and Colony I attack! Ken Banobi


But Jebus looks after his humble servants. And his humblest and most loyal servant is Reverend Banobi. Jebus saved him this time.


The allies lose 10% of their combined fleet meaning Polly Siffan loses her laser cruiser and 5 additional laser battleships and Colony I loses 4 laser battleships. One additional laser battleship belonging to Colony I is severely damaged.

The allies must withdraw.

But as soon as Polly Siffan left Coruscant, Senator Danq called for a new vote in the Senate and got his ally General Ordin elected. General's forces were then called to intervene against Siffan's garrison.

An unfortunate choice of tactics made by the good General will cause severe losses.

But the end result was never in doubt. General Ordin is proclaimed the new Regent and Polly Siffan remains baseless.

The Race


CEO Danz heard rumours that General Ordin had plans to close down Y-Danz joint venture. To protect his investments, he needed to act fast. He decided to attack Ordin's possessions. If successful, his attack would also bring the Y Industries under his control making him the richest and the most powerful tycoon in the Universe. Such an undertaking justified the risk involved.

First he sent a corporate spy to prevent Reverend Banobi from intervening. In spite of the spy's capture, he learned that Ken Banobi was engaged in conversation with Jebus and that he would not be on the move this time.
Then he set course for Y Industries Headquarters.


But somebody else also wanted a cut. Captain Imperium has wisely kept the low profile for a while, but felt that the time for action has finally come. Who will be first to undefended Y Industries?

That would be Captain Imperium himself. Using his supreme knowledge of the galaxy and the layout of wormholes, he managed to get to Y Industries faster than CEO Danz.


But the ruthless money grabber Danz had only one agenda: Capture the bases no matter what!

Danz: 1LT, 10FT, 4TT, 5LD, 2FD, 5TD, 1LB, 6FB, 3TB, 1LC, OoB: MFF-TLT, close in, spread out, fight to the death, fight whoever is there
Captain Imperium: 13FD, 1LB, 2FB, 1TB, OoB: MFF-LLT, back off, spread out


Both fleets counted on fighters, but the attacking fleet has more fighter tonnage. With nearly identical OoB, the heavier fleet carries the day, but not before it fights 9 rounds of combat.

Six more rounds and it's all over for Captain Imperium. He is again fleetless.

So, one player is made baseless, another fleetless. The next turn will be processed on Saturday morning.
