      • Yes. However, there is a problem. I won't have any time to do updates before Wednesday morning. Therefore I'm extending this round until then. You may still send orders by that time. Thank you for your patience.

        • Alas, Wednesday morn has come and gone.

            • The turn is very complex. Many battles, lots of destruction.

              • Two Rogues

Ever since the dissolution of the Galactic Empire, space pioneer Captain Imperium has remained jobless and consequently resorted to crime. His superb knowledge of all wormholes in the sector quickly enabled him to become partner with the big criminal Boss Ivan von Kristof. No wonder they decided to remove the last remnants of the Imperial Authority personified in Regent Lord Vetko.

Ivan von Kristof and Captain Imperium attack Lord Vetko

Ivan von Kristof: 4LD, 3FD, 5TD, 1LB, 5TB, OoB: MTL-TLF, bunch together, attack whoever is there, attack to the death
Captain Imperium: 1LB, 1FB, 8TB, 7LC, 2FC, 6TC, OoB: MTL-TLF, bunch together, attack whoever is there, attack to the death
Allied total: 4LD, 3FD, 5TD, 2LB, 1FB, 13TB, 7LC, 2FC, 6TC, OoB: MTL-TLF, distance normal(!!!???), bunch together, attack whoever is there, attack to the death
Lord Vetko: 12LB, 23LC, OoB: MLL-TTF, close in, spread out

"Shall we back off", asked Ivan von Kristof always wary of Imperial cruisers lurking behind nearby moons.
"I'm a fighter pilot", replied Captain Imperium. "I never back off."

                  • If Lord Vetko had had at least one fighter and torpedo frigate his losses would have been much smaller. Still, he managed to defend his bases. The attackers suffer a dismal defeat and lose their entire combined fleet.

                        • Thou shalt not steal!

His attack repulsed, his fleet destroyed and abandoned by his ally Captain Imperium, Ivan von Kristof limped back home with his spirit broken only to find his homeland army under fierce attack by eliminator of all sins in the Galaxy, fanatical follower of Jebus, Reverend Ken Banobi.

Ken Banobi attacks! Ivan von Kristof

Ken Banobi: 21FC, 24TC, OoB: FFT-MTL, back off. Fight to the death!
Ivan von Kristof: 1LF, OoB: LML-TTF, close in.

Righteousness triumphs over inequity once again and the epitome of sin Ivan von Kristof is eliminated. His immortal soul is saved though through burning of his mortal body on the stake.

                              • Betrayal was at work here, or cunning. The two rogues counted on the presence of a third person here. If that third person had showed up, in spite of their poorly chosen OoB the allies would have won.

Perhaps that third person wondered what would become of him afterwards. Perhaps he worried that he too may be robbed of some of his wealth when doing business with two scoundrels.
