This turn could have been very interesting, but proved to be quite boring.

Lots of attacking and spy action, but all hitting shields.



Danz and Mr. Y attack Colony I


This was destined to happen sooner or later. Two wealthiest men in the known universe join forces to impose their views of universal free market economy on everybody else. They made excellent preparations, formed their impressive combined fleet, Danz even dispatched a spy to prevent General Ordin from intervening on behalf of the Imperial Regent Lord Vetko whose orders General Ordin still follows.

News came of the spy's capture and excruciating death, but he did manage to send his transmission before capture and to report that General Ordin had no plans to attack and that he had activated an energy shield to prevent others from attacking him. This universe is paranoid indeed.

So, their attack was set in motion and seemed sure to achieve a major victory. But they didn't count on Professor Morrisa's genius. She correctly estimated that her protégé Colony I would be targeted this time and issued orders to raise shields through her remote control unit countermanding the orders previously issued by Colony I itself. The combined fleet hit the shield and suffered a humiliating defeat which promptly resulted in a sharp fall of the shares of their joint venture company "Y-Danz".

Mr. Y, having sent larger ships wisely, only lost a single torpedo battleship, while Danz lost 3 torpedo battleships and had to tow a fourth which was severely damaged.
