Could we stop the crappy meta-spam now? Joseph clearly stated that it was a forum bug, mod deletes those error posts if he sees that necessary.

It has nothing from RoN, even the worst parts of RoN are better than the best parts in this game
    The cards?

The cards in RoN are great, they have a huge effect on the game, while the cards in AoE3 doesn't really do much... the cards are played very differently in those two games though

I always try before I buy.

        I will buy good games.

I reward the developers if they make good games.

Plus, IMO, it's just like checking stuff out from the library.

And I am totally against people who sell or profit from pirated stuff. I think they should be hunted down like dogs!

            no

it's not one of those sites you find on google or something...

in fact, it's not a website at all...

            I've already said too much.

Maybe a delay Virus this weekend will explode.

What make me upset with this is that he acquired a game from some insider that stole the game and may copies. Sava did not pay for it, plays it, and now is telling everyone else not to buy it, because he don't like it.

How would Bruce Shelly like it, when he find out about Sava post that said his game is no good?
BTW if you guys don't already know, Bruce once work at Micro Prose and help make Civ 1, Colonization, and I thing he also work on RRT 1.

Just like at Firaxis, I bet someone from Ensemble is looking at our boards also to see what people are saying this game.

It's not my fault the game isn't that great. Blame the developers, not me.

And I'm not telling anyone to not buy it.

I just said I wasn't going to buy it.

                  Stop making stuff up.

Sorry, I like to play a game before wasting $50.

Nothing wrong with a bit of piracy..........you can't buy every game, and many are pants/very short.

I'll buy games if I play them for an extended period of time, or for MP, or if I trust them not to be rubbish.

He's not actually telling people not to buy it, but just telling them what he thinks about it

And why should people support a game they don't like? If you buy the game it's like telling the company that you liked it, which might persuade them to make a sequel to an already bad game, which contains all the bad parts of the first game, which makes the game even worse

Also what would you say if a game was just released. This game has everything you ever wanted in a game and it gets a high rating from everybody, so you buy it, just to find out that there's a "slight" problem with the game... it doesn't run on your computer, even though your computer meets the min. requirements... so now you end up with a game you paid your hard earned cash to, but can't even play it... is this fun?

OK guys enough discussion of whether this is piracy and whether priarcy is right or wrong.

Thats a topic for another thread

I started this mainly to discuss whether anyone else here was getting the game or not and if they did, did they like it or not

I liked the AOE III Demo so I ordered the game. Another reason I like it is that some units can build other units.

I acually won the New England map on the hardest difficulty level despite being a horrible player. The AI built 50 horsemen and utterly destroyed my town. Using all of two settlers, that happened to be harvesting deer next to my dock and escaped, I built a second Town center on the small Island for deliveries and then sent my unit building boat to the mainland and Granaded them into obilivian after several waves.
Don't rule me out when I'm losing. Save your celebration until after I'm gone.

The cards in RoN are great
Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree about that. They won't break the game or anything, but I found them useless apart from the "gain X's national powers" -card.

Sure, a lot of the cards are useless, but wonder cards/gain a national power/remove national power from enemy/etc are very nice cards that has a huge effect on the game
