Indeed, the mafia decided to frame Farmer.
One can only wonder what made the majority vote for him. Farmer is dead, but he was not the mafia.
“It is obvious now”, Nosey Smurf started his speech before the remaining Smurfs, “There are three suspects.”
“You said there were two before”, Tailor Smurf objected.
“There are three now”, Nosey replied.
“What made you add another one”, Slouchy asked.
“Yeah, I thought you would have wanted to know that cause you’re among them”, Nosey replied maliciously.
“Yeah, right. OK everybody, let’s hear his theory”, Handy quieted the other Smurfs.
Nosey Smurf then elaborated his rather farfetched theory about the killings and named three suspects: Farmer Smurf, Slouchy Smurf and Clumsy Smurf. Needless to say the three weren’t very happy about it so Nosey received their votes. His fabulous theory gathered enough support however and the majority of Smurfs voted for Farmer Smurf. He was then compelled to drink poison.
“Will this be the end of our ordeal”, Smurfette asked Nosey Smurf.
“I can’t be sure. The murderer could have been either of the suspects on my list”, Nosey replied.
“So, you are saying that you weren’t sure about Farmer Smurf’s guilt? And we voted for him based on the evidence you presented”, Handy Smurf was shocked.
“All I’m saying is that the evidence I presented can vindicate some of us. While it does not necessarily accuse the others, they make up good suspects and good scapegoats simply because they cannot account for their whereabouts at the critical time”, Nosey explained.
But the Smurfs weren’t particularly pleased with his explanations.

I believe the beladonnas are hints. Beladonnas sounds female'ish, which makes Smurfette the mafia, also Smurfette is AFAIK the only alive smurf who knows where to find them

Since this beauty is nearly done, then I volunteer to GM the next one. Because it will be (very) plot-heavy (well, lots of writing), then I'm afraid I'll only have room for 19 players. This way I make sure that I get killed first round.

Hmmm...I knew there was a chance Farmer was being framed (almost wrote "farmed" there!), but looking back there seemed to be reasonable evidence for him...all I know for sure now is that it isn't Azrael, Jokey, or Tailor. My evidence is still valid even if my analysis is wrong...but that's for you all to sort out now.
