It's a lot easier to blame conspiracies than it is to blame poor play, isn't it?
Maybe if the lot of you would stop building one-weapon fleets (Smiley, Paddy) ramming into people who are obviously shielding (ljube, Hercules) missing deadlines (ljube, Herc) and losing your homebases (Vlad, Herc) you would have more of a chance to win.
I challenge you to find a single mistake made by Spiffor, Kassi, Skanky, or me. Really, is it any surprise that we are in the finals and you aren't? I have lost one ship this game, total. It was a laser battleship. Spiffor, as far as I can tell, hasn't lost any.
Oh, and lastly, my alliance is three people. ljube made an alliance of three, and then brought Herc in as a substitute once his allies were gone. But they're all gone. What I'm most surprised about is the lack of common defense in the Ljbeam alliance. AFAICT, the reason why the Jaguarian alliance survived the original Smileyesque onslaught is because of an efficient common defense.
