Today, Lt. Commander Worf, on his daily inspection of quarters, found our recent refugee, Tora Ziyal dead, sprawled on her standard size cot in her sparse quarters.

    ...

Worf reported that Tora had nothing on her, other than what her sponsor, Major Kira, had given her just a few days previous.

Second clue. Ferengi like them female naked.

So I am twice guilty, of the death of the Emissary, and the death of one I love dearly through my negligence. While the Emissary slowly grew to accept his role, who knows how the Prophets work on those who meet them?

Third clue. Of the surviving people only Grand Nagus (Lord Nuclear) met with the prophets. Furthermore they worked on him.

One thing that did catch my eye, was what Jake had been writing about. He talked about the changes in his father since he had became appointed emissary. Originally, he had struggled greatly, but he had gradually grown into his role. Jake figures the wormhole aliens change people's minds to change their personality.

Indeed they do, as they did change Zek's (Lord Nuclear's) personality in one of the episodes.

I can't help but return to Kira's comments before I injected her. She kept babbling on about those damn wormhole aliens. 'The prophets must somehow be the key to all this.' I cannot recall who among the crew, after the death of the emissary, would have had any contact with the wormhole aliens...

          I can. Lord Nuclear.

            Fourth clue. Self-explanatory.

            • Well, either Vovan votes himself (?!), or does a three-way tie by voting Ljube, or Lord Nuke is dead. In the Vampire Mafia we actually had a similar situation and I voted for who I thought was really the killer, causing a three-way tie, thinking it was the only way to try to get the Mafia. I lost the tie and the Mafia lived... so I can't recommend a three-way tie. I still feel bad about how I got Guynemer kylled

Still I have to admire the savvy of our killer, to remain at large for so long, Such acumen would seem to indicate knowledge of people that I have seen on occasions from filthy politicians and diplomats. Bah, it would only be too fitting, that such scum would be our killer.

Fifth clue. Lord Nuclear is a politician.

Three way tie is now impossible. If I had been the mafia I would have voted for vovan and won the game. If vovan is the mafia, he will vote for Lord Nuclear and win the game.

                    • Not impossible, just illogical.

If Vovan beleives that you would go for the ultimate in deception and vote for Lord Nuclear which would throw suspicion off yourself (as you state, you could have won the game by voting for Vovan if you were mafia) then he could still vote for you and tie the vote (but everyone knows that Ljube is never the mafia ).

It does seem logical for him to vote for Lord Nuclear now however, as if he is the mafia voting for Lord Nuclear guarantees him the win, voting for you doesn't. If he is not the mafia voting for LN gives him a good chance at winning (50/50) whereas voting for LL gives him a lesser chance at winning (33/33/33).

*(by winning I mean not getting killed)

That would be plain stupid. I'm not that stupid.

                        • And while that may be true, it is irrelevant.

You are assuming that Vovan uses the same logic and rational that you do. Vovan on the other hand may use entirely different logic than either you or I would.

Just as me... The only time I've been Mafia, was when I was appointed as a replacement.

                            • Yes, but you're never the mafia for a different reason than Ljube is never the mafia.
