Jam, how can we use the reputation system from BG in NWN? I suppose the easiest way is just to have shopkeepers, etc. less favourable to evil characters, and than use the alignment points system to reflect the rep, but I'm not happy that that is an appropriate method for BG. After all, it would just end up with a world full of LG characters, and no-one wanting to roleplay evil.
I'll volunteer myself as chief spell-checker if anyone has got to the stage of writing dialogue yet.

I'm using the same system as BG - a high rep will give you discounts in the shops, a low rep will give you extra cost in the shops, and a very low rep will mean the Flaming Fists turn up. Alignment will, like BG, only affect the starting value of reputation. I'll add a widget so you can check your reputation at any time.

That's very nice of you, but I'm using the original dialogue and just copy-and-pasting it. I hope I can do that without screwing up the spellings. I might leave all the original typos in, I might fix stuff. What say ye?

Erm... probably about 3% But there are a lot of things going on in Candlekeep, more than any other map untill we reach Beregost. I've done all the NPC scripting... heh, by the end of tommorrow I hope to be as far into the game as the abortive attempt someone else made on the NWN Vault.

I looked at it but they can't code for ****, and they used a 250mb hak which I think is a bit excessive really. But let's not pretend that I didn't consider it. It would have been MORE work though.

what would really be ambitious is doing BG2 and expansion. . But that's okay. I can play the original game, which I'm doing right not. I'm doing a solo run through BG2 with a F/M/T.
