We do, but that doesn't help me. Since this has to be payed on intl servers, it has to be done with VISA, MASTERCARD, etc. I don't have one of those

Im not sure what Baruk Khazad is , but if they speak Judeo-Dwarvish, that would be "blessed are the dwarves" - lord of the mark

And thanks, Spike, master of the obvious. I've seen the game a couple times, and I still don't really know if it's worth it and if it can keep my attention for long enough to justify paying for it monthly. I seem to recall hearing somewhere something about a free trial period, so that's why I was wonderin'...
There will be a free 7 day trial at some point. But that could be years away - it's usually what the game resorts to when the influx of new players drops. That could take a while with WoW.

That's odd though. I have no credit card, but my normal debit card can be used to make VISA payments. I've used it for City of Heroes for instance, straight to an American company.

          • I like the game because you don't need the CD's to run it, maybe I'll sell the 10 day free trial

This is an interesting game. Once I start playing, I can play for hours. But the weird thing is I have no desire to start playing. There just isn't any motivation to fire the game up.

            • Then why keep playing once you start?

              • It's funny, I have had that with some games too. It's like, man I don't think I really wanna start the game up, but then if I am actually so bored that I do start the game, I'll play it for hours on end. Don't know why that happens...

                  • If you are addicted why don't you want to start?

Oops, didn't see this before... So you figure there will still be a lot of people playing the game in, say, July?

because there's no incentive to play. Yeah the gameplay is fun and addictive. But there's no story, no grand adventure. What's the point of building my character up to a high level?

Has City of Heroes done this yet? I heard something about some kind of "invite your friend" trial, but it required having someone who already subscribes refer you, I think.

I don't get how you can find it addictive *and* lacking any point to play.

Did you quote the wrong post?

If you are asking about debit cards I think I already answered. If you are asking about free trials then yes there was one, but I don't think it's active at present. Check CoH.com.
