I already dissolved the Senate, and my droids are already armed against planetary assault (sadly a stage of complication too much for GO, but it would be grand) My cybernetic naval crew, commanded as captains by the few humans I trust, stand ready. My factories begin to produce lasers, torpedoes and the legendary Ninja class fighters. The mighty orbital dockyards of Jamskisol V have geared up production to produce warships up to Battleship classes.

Everywhere the Jamskian faction prepares to claim the Overlordship over the crumbling remains of the Galactic Republic. Why must we wait?

We need to clear one last dilemma: What kind of orders can we issue in pre-builds? Previously only normal orders were allowed in pre-build turns, but Smiley may wish to change this, I don't know.

In regards to prebuilds:

You can either build a shield or a spy in addition to ship or base in the prebuild.

I agree 100% with smiley that the shieldgenerator ship is way too complicated for this game. Personally I'd be all for a true rock-paper-scissors game with no hitpoints or firepower or maneuver or anything... but that's just me.

That was how Combat 1.0 rules were, though they were quite unbalanced- a three frigate fleet could hold off the biggest fleet in the galaxy if the OoB was right.
