I was unaware of that. I've always played that you can. Never mind then...my vote is for Adagio, not the duke.

Those who claim they are not the mafia are always suspects in my book.

This attitude disturbs me. The way I've always played, anyone who is accused defends themselves, especially if they don't have any strong idea themselves for who the mafia is. How are you supposed to defend yourself if you can't say you're not the mafia and you don't know who the mafia is?

I haven't read the bio's for all players, but did you only look at birth-place or also where they grew up? And what about people from other english speaking countries (England, Australia, etc)

At the site Nobelprize.org, when you look them up it says they're nationallity, i listed the americans.

The fact that someone "sounds" American is pretty far-fetched. Someone who's grown up in Europe but, say, watched TV a lot as a child and had an American parent could all well sound American, but not be American per se. My own accent is also slightly Americanish, though I'm trying to get rid of it in favour of a more neutral one. Stupid TV.
