And yes, those screenshots are actual in-game graphics, not renders/cinemeatics. The trick here is that they're taken from a very good computer with a top-of-the-line video card and best settings, so people with older hardware shouldn't expect it to look that good. But yeah, it looks pretty amazing .
Yeah, I've been meaning to replace my video card... it's a Radeon X300, a PCI chip, and back when we got the computer they didn't have any of the good cards in PCI. They should by now. The rest of the computer is set, though - 2 gigs ram, 3.4 ghz P4.

Sounds like a great rig, Kuci . As for video cards, I personally prefer nVidia cards by far, but it really varies from person to person.

Since were talking about computers, I should be getting a 3.6 GHz P4, X850 XT, 20" LCD, 2 GB of RAM.

ATI Radeon. The top, for now.

nVidia GeForce, definitely the top. Also, it's better for OpenGL, which is the real platform, not DirectX.

Actually Lord N is closer. Of course there are more subjective areas but if you have to pick one then the ATI cards are top.

It really depends on what games you want to play... Ati is great for fps games and such, while Nvidia is best for non-fps games... at least that's from my experience... while I had an Ati card 50% of my games became unplayable (constantly freezing my computer), but those games I could play (of 3D games) ran much better...

                          Back to topic:

I've never been that interested in AoE games, but I'll probably try this game when it'll be released... the graphics looks great
This space is empty... or is it?

PCI graphics cards are what was used 5+ years ago. Even the most basic of cards these days are AGP cards.

well..let me inform you that I was referring to PCIE not PCI

I just got me new computer and the latest and greatest motherboard setup has the PCIE with some the AGP (which my Radeon X800PRO is)

I aint saying that its the way to go..actually I am checking to see if anyone here has any input
