Name the Game - Part 9

    Game rules:
    - If you guess a game correctly you provide the next game.
    - Please check the list below before doing so.
    - Games are not allowed to be newer than 1997, but anything before that is allowed.
    - Usually a good clue is to write information about which computer you played it on. Also the time period and genre can be narrowed down.
    - Use vague clues at first and if nobody can guess, write progressively more useful clues later.
    - Shotgunning is not allowed. 1 guess is your limit until you are told it is incorrect.
    - The answer is not Grim Fandango, except when it is.
    - Googling invalidates your guess, and should be declared if used as a last resort in a difficult game.

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

Unless there are any major mistake in the list I would like to move onto the games. Another attempt at a haiku. (uh oh! )

late 80's game this time, various platforms.

        Now we go east wards

To meet that old art that smarts

        Plus is a part here

          eastwards.....something of the orient?

          hmm....something that rhymes with art

          last bit has lost me.......

Mario Carts?......we're bound to have a few moustaches here on poly aren't we?

nicer.... i dig your Haiku by the way - the best on NTG yet - cryptic, inscrutable you could say

Well, the Haiku's shouldn't be to easy and I've given it a bit more thought. They may be cryptic, but they do have a kernel of truth in them.

            Btw,

            No, it ain't Mario Kart.

I'm going to have to pass on this one - got a job application to do. Done all the easy bits like what O grades did I get over 20 years ago but got the 'other information' to do. I really hate that bit.
