Nah. I found it in the desk drawer of our hotel room. But it's the thought that counts, right?Originally posted by Ben Kenobi
And thank you joncha for the New Testament. I'm sure it cost you more than the Manifesto cost me.

I'm still trying to determine if there's a food connection here -- Spam(TM), tropical fruits, coconut, etc. Or perhaps there's an anti-Oz or anti-British Crown thing going on. Or perhaps it has to do with all the alcohol.
Going back to the original spam-killing -- Here are the still-remaining players, listed in decreasing order of posts per day...
14.1 PPD -- Snowflake (8,757 total posts)
5.46 -- Adagio (6,983)
5.32 -- Hercules (4,459)
5.29 -- DarkCloud (8,559)
4.65 -- Kassiopeia (5,923)
4.26 -- joncha (3,085)
3.46 -- Ben Kenobi (2,750)
3.18 -- Spaced Cowboy (3,598)
2.97 -- Theben (6,985)
2.95 -- -Jrabbit (3,129)
2.64 -- Tuberski (2,769)
1.86 -- Nikolai (2,883)
1.54 -- Jonny (2,303)
1.53 -- Whoha (1,688)
1.43 -- Jon Miller (2,926)
1.28 -- reismark (3,011)
While most assumed the Spam-killer among us to be a Deity or someone high in PPD like Snowflake, I think it likely to be quite the opposite. Someone like...

Hm, let's look at the dead men, shall we?
Mafia Kills, in order of their occurence
Lord Nuclear (4.20 PPD; 3,925 total)
Paddy the Scot (10.80 PPD; 14,971 total; #4 overall)
Skanky Burns (10.42 PPD; 12,838 total; #5 overall)
rah (4.90 PPD, 11,516 total; #15 overall)
Other than the "announcement killing" of poor Lord Nuc, the pattern is blindingly obvious. Death in order of total posts. In fact, if we hadn't drowned DrSpike, he would have been next to go anyway.
So Snowflake would be next, likely followed by DarkCloud.
Killed via Voting (just to fill in the blanks)
Dr Spike (12.92; 15,442; #3 overall)
Sheep (2.20; 2,249)
Sparrowhawk (0.87; 1,809)

Huh. Talk about torturing the data till it confesses.Other than the "announcement killing" of poor Lord Nuc, the pattern is blindingly obvious. Death in order of total posts. In fact, if we hadn't drowned DrSpike, he would have been next to go anyway.
Darkcloud was the one who started the anti-Sandmanistas; he'll definitely vote for me. Tuberski helped save me last time; dunno if he'll help me again. More likely it'll be a coin toss again.
