Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
If the post count killing pattern is indeed intentional, it would seem to suggest that mafia #1 has already been killed. Further evidence for this exists in the fact that killings 2, 3, and 4 involved fruit, while killing 1 did not...
I'll go on record to state that I don't think that -Jrabbit, Snowflake or Nikolai are the mafia. Nor am I.
I think the mafia made a big mistake killing rah; his spam-happy ways, feud with Snowflake and his early elimination of DrSpike via voting made him a choice patsy to keep alive till the end of the game.
Framing snowflake was a mistake, IMO. The mafia has now made an 'investment' in her and can't kill her, since she soaks up a good slice of votes every turn. If she happens to guess right (now that her enemy rah is gone), the mafia will be in the uncomfortable position of having to either 'silence' her (thus attracting attention) or let her live and vote.
Assuming I survive to the next round, the obvious target for the mafia is Darkcloud - missing out Snowflake in -Jrabbit's postcount countdown, keeping the suspicion on both me and snowflake, and away from himself. And the mafia, of course, up to now, will always have voted against Snowflake and myself - unless he is in danger of being voted to death, since he wants to keep his patsies alive as long as possible.
Of course, once he reads this, he may try to be more 'random' in his behaviour.

It does seem kind of strange that the two mafias are coordinating this well to kill the spammers ...
Be good, and if at first you don't succeed, perhaps failure will be back in fashion soon. -- teh Spamski

1. The rules say "1 or more" Villagers are designated as Mafia. Is this number known, or simply customarily =2, or what?
2. I see the game continues until (both/all) Mafia are gone, so that means no sure way of knowing when one was killed correct?
3. Rules also state that the Mafia "informs the GM
by PM who he wishes to kill. The GM then posts a decription (sic) of the death..." I don't see anything requiring the death description to come from the Mafia. Rather it's strongly implied that this comes from the GM (Ljube). Is this accurate, or is the Mafia permitted/encouraged to specify the method of the deed along with the identity of the victim?
4. I also assume the Mafia do not know each other's identities. Also correct?

Yes, the modern practice is two. Always, unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.
2. I see the game continues until (both/all) Mafia are gone, so that means no sure way of knowing when one was killed correct?
Yes, there should be no way to tell until we see a change in the method of killing happen, as in, Mafia 1 (alive) starts killing on Mafia 2's (dead) turn too. Assuming both mafias have their distinctive method. Usually they do.
3. Rules also state that the Mafia "informs the GM

It's up to the GM. I usually ask for ideas from the Mafia, but in most cases the Mafia have given me free will over this. Usually it's easiest for the GM that the GM can decide on their own.
4. I also assume the Mafia do not know each other's identities. Also correct?
The GM does not inform them. They can try to find out who it is, but they have no surefire way to know.

Oh, and usually if one Mafia dies on first two turns, the GM may select a new Mafia to stand in for them. It's possible this has happened this time since killing method has changed from spam can lids to fruit.

Fools! A first-time player being made Mafia in such a long-established game?
Think about it -- Who started this pile-on?
That's actually happened before -Jrabbit. Therefore, you could theroretically be the culprit- especially with all the work that went into making your (very excellent!) list.
However, that list is pretty damning in its evidence (presuming it wasn't skewed that way on purpose)
And in addition to the data provided on the list, the culprit of name quickly jumped on the jrabbit docpile when only one vote was accured against himself and at least three against Jrabbit... that's mighty suspicious.
I still continue to place my vote for sandman... for the time.
maybe he'll survive the coin toss again...
my wouldn't that be interesting...
