How to find them (exception: Spanish Treasure Fleet):
Since reaching the million mark for the 3rd time, I've had to rely on rich shipping. In doing so, I've noticed a few things about Treasure Ships.
1) They start and travel between Wealthy & Prosperous ports.
2) The more wealthy ports you have of any nationality, the greater the frequency in which they appear.
3) The closer these ports are to one another, the greater your ability at bagging one. Example. I had Port Royale, Santiago, Tortuga, & Port-de-Paix all English and all wealthy ports. 4) Escorted Treasure ships carry more gold than non escorted ones. Around 9300 in gold was the most I captured. Escorted ones are usually more than 6K. Non escorted ones are between 3 & 5K.
