For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
Here's a poll question for you all. what all do you get out of MMORPG's?
as I've said, I've never actually played one, but I've been meaning to get into one.
Is it the large world full of live human players? Is it the flexibility in some games that allow you to be whatever you want? I think in WOW you can even be a fisherman. Although why anyone would want to do that is beyond me . I'd rather kill things. But it is to my understanding some people like trading stuff. So you like exploring?- or is it just the killing you like. What about quests?
I have a question to ask. How many people on average do you think play on a MMORPG at once? And how many people do you think would play on WoW at once?

What good is a commie supergroup if they can't be villains?
Like I said, maybe when City of Villains is done...

Playing a game which has a "living" world made up of thousands of other people where your actions effect them, and theirs you, somehow seems slightly less pointless for one thing.

Generally speaking there is usually 1000-2000 playing on a server, I think. It varies from game to game, as some have smaller worlds and more servers, or larger worlds and fewer servers, ect....
but as a whole, I would say tens of thousands of people playing a particular MMORPG at any given time... although some are less popular than others, obviously.
