Is there something you can do with the skills long term?

Craft and sell items with better stats than in the stores. This I already can do, see my backpacks. Whether they will be on par with quested items or not, time will show.

I have my barbarian brawler up to level 12 now. I actually started a new character- a dark elf female priest. She's only level 4. I really shouldn't get into her until I'm done with my other character. but I wanted to create her at least.

Here's the deal. I have low Ram as I mentioned. I can play the game if I stay in one area, for many, many hours. The problem arises when I change areas often (usually 4 times will really start to bog me down). So I'm kind of in a bind. I've been killing things in those fields outside the city gates of north and south Qeynos (can't remember the name of it). Though I'm still a fairly low level. some of those things are tough. Although I prefer to do quests. As they break up the monotony of killing things repeatedly. But too many quests require you to change areas too often. So I guess for now, I'll continue in that large outdoor area (and the area is huge- so I don't have to leave often) for a while. I hope they patch this problem soon.

I actually was in a couple of parties yesterday. But I die more when I party . Non one backed me up. They said: Okay who's going to draw them out? And since I was a barbarian I said "I will". So I went and taunted them. And then no one backed me up. I died . I never die when I'm going solo. Actually I take that back. I accidently double clicked a guard near one of those watchtowers (he had a red profile on him- I wanted to talk to him not attack him!). I thought he was a friendly. I didn't expect him to attack me.

I really thought about getting this, as no way has transpired yet for me to play WoW. However, in the end (due to large improvements made) I went back to see the new higher level content in City of Heroes.

I still may look at this later though. What server is everyone on?

I am at Lucan D`Lere. As far as I understand, Dissident and JM are too. Got my dwarf to 17 crusader / 14 outfitter today in the scary halls of Stormhold, and got myself guilded. The mystery of the early seen horses has been solved too: Paladins get a simple horse for free at level 20. I will too, looking forward to this.

damn, maybe I should have chose Paladin.

some of those prices seem so outrageous. I have yet to accumulate a single gold piece yet . The most I've had is about 78 silver.

Antonica as a whole is a masterpiece with many many great spots to hunt. You will enjoy it.

That is normal, unfortunately. I experience the same. When you solo, you can very well evaluate what you pull and if you're able to best it. If you get add, you still can run. In a group, especially in a dungeon, it happens often, that the puller gets more than the group can chew.

So far I never got out of Blackburrow without an XP debt. Today it wasn't me who died (the whole group gets penaltized for the death of a member), but I got it nonetheless. For some reason, I got out of Stormhold without a debt, although Stormhold is much harder than Blackburrow. Great group, that's why.

                    Bad group. That simple.

Wow, I didn't even know you can attack these.

                    • I assume he was a guard. He was in Antonica standing next to one of those towers in the hills north east of the bridge to north qeynos.

so am I the only one playing evil?

the dark elf female priest of mine is evil. But I just started. I haven't arrived in Freeport yet.

I did play an evil barbarian when I was trying out this game at my brother's house. I did get him to Freeport.

One cool thing about Freeport is the NPC's say cooler things . None of this dorky good-two-shoes stuff that the citiizens of Qeynos say.

Haven't seen that in a MMORPG before. It seems quite harsh. I regularly group with players who get killed from doing something silly, and I don't want to be penalised for it.

                            • Update: Crusader 18 / Outfitter 15. Made me some 7-spot boxes for the bank account. And - lo and behold - made it out of Blackburrow for the first time without XP debt, even after about 2 hours diviners camping and fighting with the group.
