  • Undoubtedly he's out celebrating his birthday. Wouldn't be nice to autokill him on such a day.

    And for Jam

EDIT: Kass, you need a plan to take out 3 battleships?

plus we know he's still your ally...

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

    • Hurry it up, Jamski.

I take it he has no default orders?

      • I can't discuss his default orders with you.

OK. Jam has till today afternoon to send his orders. I'm doing the turn in 4 hours.

            • I left him a message at "the other place." However, he can't get to poly from work and has dial-up at home.

                      • Turn 8 - The Dominion

Space is a dangerous place. You must keep attacking lest a superior foe attacks and destroys you.

Simple motto, strictly followed by charismatic Captain Kassiopeia Janeway. This principle helped her escape one more punitive strike by the Trabe. One of her laser battleships, its warp drive damaged lagged behind and was caught by a superior Trabe force.

Battle No. 1: GeoModder attacks Kassiopeia
                        GeoModder: 7LT, 7FT, 7TT, OoB: LLT-FFT, close in, normal
Kassiopeia: 1LB, OoB: LLT-TFF, close in, normal

The motionless ship is quickly destroyed and GeoModder takes all five of Kassiopeia’s bases. He then transfers four of his bases to Theben and another four to Spaced Cowboy. What a strong alliance this is.

                        *******

And Kassiopeia reckoned she didn’t need so many bases, just one to refit her ships. Indeed, her goal is to return to the alpha quadrant, not try to create an empire in the delta quadrant. On her course lay the bases of the Pralor Automated Units. Having already crossed her sword with these merciless cyborgs, she decided to punish them now, when they were weakest.

Battle No. 2: Kassiopeia attacks Spaced Cowboy
                        Kassiopeia: 5LB, 5FB, 5TB, OoB: TFL-TFL, normal, normal
                        Spaced Cowboy: 2LD, 2FD, 1TD, 14TF, OoB: TTL-LFF, back off, normal

                        15T – 18T – Kassiopeia takes 3 hits
                        30F – 18T – Spaced Cowboy takes 12 hits
                        7.5L – 4L – Spaced Cowboy takes 3 hits

Captain Janeway’s fleet is barely scratched, while Spaced Cowboy loses a fair chunk of his newly constructed torpedo frigates. The battle rages on.

                        30T – 4L – Spaced Cowboy takes 26 hits
                        15F – 8F – Spaced Cowboy takes 7 hits
                        15L – 8F – Spaced Cowboy takes 7 hits

Spaced cowboy loses all torpedo ships, all laser ships and his carrier dreadnaught is damaged. The Pralor AUs must retreat from one of their bases.

                        *******

The last remnants of Species 8472 staged an all out attack on Kazon Ogla sect. The timing couldn’t have been better as Kazon Ogla First Maje Rizik III Jamski was out on a diplomatic mission. However, the Species 8472 also lacked coherent leadership.

Battle No. 3: Smiley attacks Jamski
Smiley: 1TF, OoB: Only parts of OoB received – random OoB: FFT-TLL, back off, normal, fight to the death
Jamski: 3LB, OoB: No OoB received – random OoB: FFL-TLT

                        0F – 0F – no damage
                        0F – 0F – no damage
2T – 4.5L – Smiley takes 2 hits and his torpedo frigate is destroyed

Jamski successfully defended his bases without lifting a finger.

                        *******

For years, the Dominion has been building its production facilities and military forces seemingly uninterested in the affairs of the delta quadrant solids. But Founder DrSpike was conscious of all developments and wary of aggressive species in this new environment. Nothing in their behaviour led DrSpike to assume they were any different from the solids he encountered in the alpha quadrant, or those he knew in the gamma quadrant well. This led him to apply the standard Dominion policy: The establishment of order.

To do that, Founder DrSpike enlisted the aid of solids. The downfall of once mighty Kazon Pommar sect didn’t escape his keen observation. He offered an alliance and Theben accepted the offer. The Vidiians were first to learn the immense power of this new alliance.

Battle No. 4: DrSpike and Theben attack Skanky Burns
                        DrSpike: 7LT, 3FD, 11TD, 5LB, 5FB, 2TB, 1LC, OoB: LTL-TFF, close in, spread out, fight to the death
                        Theben: 5LT, 4FT, 5TT, 3FD, 7LB, 4TB, 1LC, OoB: LTL-TFF, close in, spread out, fight to the death
                        Allied total: 12LT, 4FT, 5TT, 6FD, 11TD, 12LB, 5FB, 6TB, 2LC, OoB: LTL-TFF, close in, spread out, fight to the death
                        Skanky Burns: 12LD, 14FD, 11TD, 2TB, 2TF, OoB: FFT-LTL

                        400L – 112F – Skanky Burns takes 288 hits
                        87T – 224F – Allies take 137 hits
200L – 52T – Skanky Burns takes 148 hits and his entire fleet is destroyed

Theben loses 1 laser cruiser, 7 laser battleships, and 2 laser titans. His third laser titan is damaged. DrSpike loses 1 laser cruiser, 5 laser battleships and 3 laser titans. The allies split the bases 8 each.

                        *******

Only 2 Skanky’s laser frigates escaped the carnage but they managed to capture 4 Smiley’s undefended bases.

                        Smiley is eliminated.
