I'd also say games like Pacman, Galaga, etc. probably are bug-free
Pac-man is not bug-free. If you beat level 255 it crashed.

      civ2 didn't have any bugs didn't it?

back in those days, I knew nothing about game patches. I played the game as it came out of the box. I don't recall any bugs in civ2. But I have never really tested it. I've never been good at finding bugs anyways.

How can you possibly get to level 255 without cheating. The ghosts move so fast that your pacman doesn't even have the time to escape his starting position!
Unless of course, you set your cpu clockspeed at 0,000000001 microhertz

The original game was pretty slow.

Many of the arcade games of that era had adjustments to difficulty that could be made depending on the crowd that played it to maximize the quarters.

I remember finding and asteriods and a defender game where you just could not lose, it was probably set at minimum which was below the default.
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

                That's slightly against the rules

I don't think Galactic Civilizations still contained bugs on release?
Stardocks continuous support program was based on balancing and tweaking game functions, not bugfixing.
