  • well, I remember the original rule was you could nuke wonders, but that was too overpowering...

    • Maybe Majestic-12 must allow you to nuke wonders?

      • Rules as now are you can target nukes, but wonder cities can only be nuked after everything else is blown up (otherwise too easy to sabotage either the GO system or a cultural victory). Thus Sparrowhawk's only city should be the one with the Railroad.

Tech Victory sounds like a good albeit extremely expensive idea.

        • Understood Waiting for your map

Great diplomatic war is goind on. All sides except Johny and Sparrowhawk are curently negotiating. Everybody understand that if we do not co-operate Johny wins. On the other hand people see that the game will not last more than 5 more turns and already prepare base for their own victory.

                • I have a question about attacking through a nuked theretory. If I drop only one nuke at galactic overlord owner's city and do not totally destroy it would it be considered as nuked for "no attack through nuked territory"?

                  • No, it's not nuked, the concept behind the Galactic Overlord missile defense is that it can only shoot down 75% of the nukes shot at it; not that cities gain extra hitpoints.

                        • Muxec,

When you trade, you get the income from your trade that turn.

Example, you have 1000 cash at the beginning of the turn.

you send 10 caravans to Bobo who is at tech 10 like you, and you are a republic (which gets a 2X bonus)

                          Then the cost is: (10+10)*10 = 200
                          The total profit is 10*10*10*2 = 2000,
so the net income is 1800, and can be used that turn with the 1000 that you already had, that is, you have 2800 to spend.

Please specify the number of caravans that you want to send and to whom, they way that you've stated your orders, "trade with so-and-so" could be interpreted as a single caravan trade.

That being said, the trade that you get from other players will not be seen until your next turn where it is automatically added to the gold that you have to spend.

                          • Also had this question in a pm:

Yes or no to nuking the brown squares on the map?

Not clear in the rules, and I do not see anything wrong with it. If a player wants to waste 500 gold to nuke a blank square then "do it."

What happens when one tries to build city at the square tha was nuked at the same turn? Does he lose money spent on it?

                              • Hmm....

Well, if you are at war with the nuker, then your city is built and destroyed. If you are at peace with the nuker, then the city is built, but the nuke launch is cancelled because you have to be at war to launch nukes.

Or should we go with the accident that caused a war scenario? That is, the city is built and destroyed regardless of war or peace, but the end result is war.
