Indeed... 30 cities, tech 10, in a republic... that's 3000 gold/turn, not including trade; that can build a lot of armies. He's surely going to run away with the game now.

It seems ironic that we all seem to agree that the world powers are Jonny and
Smiley and yet it is the other Societies currently in active war. One must wonder who the 
idiot was that started these wars in the first place 
If the current wars continue, Smiley will overrun the planet with cities, Jonny will finish the rest of the Wonders, and Darkcloud, Whoha and Sparrowhawk will be also rans in the game (and Muxec and Vlad Antlerkov are still working on writing their place into the history books, I do not yet know what those roles will be).
