Oh yeah, if you can marry Lady Grey, your dowry will be very great. And I believe she gives much great gifts.

I hope she didn't divorce me... I haven't been in Bowerstone in a while.

You gotta do some quests for her and she'll do the deed. You have to have enough renown first so she'll start taking an interest in you.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Yeah, it's not like they have to translate it or anything. Here, they didn't even bother to translate the game for the francophones in Canada. They translated the manual and that's it. I'm sure Fable will be fully translated for the french market.Let us be lazy in everything, except in loving and drinking, except in being lazy – Lessing

no worries bipolar - i might be the worlds most jaded gamer these days(who else can prefer most games that run on his P166 to all this 'modern rubbish'!).
I'm interested in Fable more out of a kind of academic interest rather than a gaming one, so my expectations wont be damaged.
I'm still looking forward to this month when it comes out here though.
Are people still playing it? Is it still a fun game or does it tire quickly? does the shortness of it ruin the experience?'The very basis of the liberal idea – the belief of individual freedom is what causes the chaos' - William Kristol, son of the founder of neo-conservitivism, talking about neo-con ideology and its agenda for you.info here. prove me wrong.

It's a fun game. I'm of the school of thought where if my main complaint is that it's too short, then the game is good. And for Fable, that's definitely the case.
Although I'd rather if the game were longer, I like the fact that I can run through it all and play as different characters and still have a social life.
Aside from the shortness problems, I think the only other problem I've spotted has been the poor balance in certain spells. There's no rock, paper, scissors to some of the magic - for example the slow time spell is advantageous in every fight, can make escort missions way too easy, and can even be used to cheat in some minigames. No meaningful counter exists in the game to it.
That's not such a big deal though, if you avoid those skills. This is just a game that needs a little more in the way of challenges. The boasts are a good step, but more balancing should have been done.John Brown did nothing wrong.

and an interesting post on the lionhead forums from the man himself here .
I think this is a positive thing to have done. Just to set the record straight for those that might have felt disapointed after following the games development from the begining.
Hopefuly any Fable2 game will be the better for this openess.
