Alright- I'll message you between 10 and 50k for any tips that lead to good profits. Here's what I'm looking for:
--Items selling for much less than the "natural" sell-for value in the item description. Preferably with a high profit margin or a high max-per-day.
--Items selling for a temporary low price, for example jabanero peppers for $10 or $800. Snatch them up at their temporary prices and I'll pay you!
I'm asking you guys (especially people with characters too low to own a store) because I don't have time to check the entire game but combined, we have a great coverage.cIV list: cheats

Well, I noticed that things like tomatoes, beer, bloody beer, and such, are all sold for 10 meat, way below their natural value. But I don't think you will be able to make any money off of them, unless you buy them up at 10, and then sell them through the inventory to noone in particular (or maybe on the flea market?).
But what you can do is go to chat and see what people want there. Just today, for instance, I assembled a Clockwork maid, and I already have one, so I was looking to sell it and make some meat. So I went to the mall, and saw that the cheapest they have them there is 27k. So, I sent a message to the owner of that store and said I'd sell one to him for 20k so he'd make an instant profit of 7k. Well, he sent me to hell.
So then I went to the chat and said whoever wants a clockwork maid, msg me. So someone did. They offered me 5k for it. I thought man, at that price, I'd just rather give it away for free to the clan. So I said I had a better offer. The dude asked what. I said 15k. He said he'd pay 18. I said how about 20. So he said sure, and there I was. Less a clockwork maid and more 20k. Probably far from the highest price I could have sold it at, but whatever. 20k is a lot for me at this point any way.
Soooo, my point is: go to chat, and ask around. You can make some meat there.

PS: How does one go about viewing people's profiles, if that person is not in the chat, and you don't know what clan they are in - all you know is their name - like you found a mall store, and you want to view the profile of its owner?
PS2: I noticed most stores selling spooky staffs and scarecrows don't have any limits on the quantity per day, though admittedly, their prices are above normal.Last edited by vovan; September 11, 2004, 20:58.

It's much less hassle than selling off one of each item at a time in the market, and of course I saved a couple of each to resell there.
I asked because I don't have the time to do the legwork involved in checking out all possible profit-buys. Neither does anyone here, but we all stumble over one once in a while.cIV list: cheats

Ha, here's a little bit of instant profit for ya: dense meat stack at the price of 10! Well, there *is* a limit of 2 / day. But you can get an instant boost of 1980 meat at "Support your local buffies", if you are like me and even that matters.

The trouble of canvassing with chat is you need a lot of free time, which I don't have. However, if you know what specific items you want, I can get them.
Also, if anybody who have any familiar items they don't need, send them my way. I have set up a store to sell them. I will send you have the meat I sell them for, or into the clan coffer, at your discretion.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

Another question. How do people drink so much? Like, I got my liver of steel thing, and max drunkenness is 20. But how do I see people in the hall of records with like 255 drunkenness?

No idea. It's probably a Gift from Jick or heldover from bugs in the Bad Old Days.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

Head over to "Bashy's House of Fetus Murder" and get one roll-in-the-hay, and one Cocktail-crafting kit for 10 meat apiece.
