But since I don't have a paper manual handy, I'm using the money cheat to learn how to do all the things you guys already know how to do.

My favourite trick is to duplicate items. Particularly elurium.
Just have two identical save-games. Then transfer a bunch of elurium (or whatever you want duped) to another base and save in the second save slot. Now copy the transfers file from the second savegame to the first savegame and then load the first savegame. Your base still has its original stock with more of the same still in transit.

I forgot to correct my previous post. Heavy plasma is the weapon to use. It has autofire, is more powerful and there are plenty of clips around due to enemy aliens carrying them often. I researched plasma rifles early on and am having difficulty keeping clips in stock, as no alien carries the weapon anymore.I'm building a wagon!
