-5 new playable races! Kobold, Wemic, Brownie, Formian, and Ogre.
For details, check your journal entry titled "New Playable Races".
-Goblin PCs now have 8 more appearances to choose from! Also, they
have darkvision all the time, and no longer need to use the darkvision
ring for that power.
-Improved custom race attribute adjustment system! If you are
playing a custom race, your adjustments are applied more consistently,
and icons will no longer appear at the top of your screen. To see what
attributes are being adjusted due to subrace, look for little icons at
the bottom of your character sheet.
-The Folderol module will now automatically reload if it goes 25
hours without a server restart. Warnings will go out to all PCs
starting half an hour before reload. Reloads take a few minutes, and
PCs may stay logged in during reloads.
-The Old Adventurer is no longer so free about handing out warg
fangs.
-Hettie now hands out shapechange paste properly.
-Nymphs now get Dominate Person properly if they're level 9 or
greater.
-Pixy magic has changed! They now wait until 7th level to get
confusion, and 9th level to get dispell magic, but both spells work
much better now!
-A bunch of more obscure fixes.
-Due to assorted moves, job changes, a real world wedding, a broken
bone, and a moving company that thought it would be funny to misplace a
box of computer gear, updates to Folderol have slowed...but development
continues! Additions and improvements to Folderol will continue as
logistics allow, evil moving companies be darned.

If you're traveling with a Cleric, no. I don't need to tell you how a Cleric helps with skellies and the like, and the cleric can distract the golems while you escape.
No devastating critical? (not that it matters, if you can hit it, it's dead anyways )
You inspired me to create another character with that ability I'm sure that there will be devastating criticals o'plenty
"Arnold" is primarily dexterity based, the new character "Barney Fife" has more balance between strength and dexterity at the cost of Con, Wis, and Cha. I'll post some screenies of this new one abit later, as soon as I get him hooked up with "Hatred" and "Strife"
As for undead and golems: they might take a wee bit longer to go down, but they will go down
Out of curiosity, are you using the CEP Novice to Epic Character Trainer modue? That simplifies the process of making level-40 builds, as you've no doubt figured out already.
So will there be a new enemy on folderol then? Lvl 20 Removal Man.
I played a little more of the OC last night because my accountancy tutor thought it might have been a good idea not to bother turning up to college and we got to go home two and a half hours early. short-term, but long-term.
I am about to enter the Aqueduct section of the Docks district (still on Chapter One, but have finished two and a half of the sections). The muggers in the main docks area are fun to fight, as are the bloodsailor lieutenants, who have some fairly good spells. Nothing that does me any danger mind you. I now have the components to built two more of the magic items at the smithy - a diamond and a +1 longsword, and leather armour +1 and gargoyle skull. I still need to find something to do with the fairy dust I'm carrying around.

A word of warning: the Leather Whitebone Armor, for some reason, is magic half-plate. (But the Astral Sword is nice. Just make sure to find another diamond and hold on to it.)
Well I do have a paladin character, so half-plate is fine.
I didn't realise that it wouldn't be leather armour so thanks for that. I was thinking of keeping it until the next Chapter and perhaps giving it to Tony Undergallows if I took him as a henchman. That's that plan screwed then.
I have the Comfort Armour on at the moment, and it's doing a good job. Nice and snug too.

I've got 56k at the moment so I haven't downloaded the CEP yet, so I've been using the HOTU version of the Novice to Epic Trainer module. As you can probably tell, I've been having some fun with it
BTW, the only enemy that "Arnold" has had problem with, has been the prismatic dragon . I did create a sorcerer/red dragon disciple/shadowdancer that was able to take care of it fairly easilly.
that prismatic dragon is hard. I don't think I've had any character that can take him out more than twice. Although my mage took him out a few times I think. It's easier to smash the... you-know-what.

However, you can't give items to henchmen in the OC unless you download some hakpak somewhere. I forget the name ( ), but it has a bunch of monster and hench AI changes.
To weigh in on the WM build debate, I think that CoT (not Child of Thor!) as a third class is just better than rogue. Fighter builds suffer from weak saves other than fortitude (especially will) and 10 CoT levels gives you +7 to all saves. In addition 22 WM levels (with 8 fighter) is neat as the WM gets an extra +1 to attack at 5, 13, 16, 19 and 22. (Also 25 and 27). Multiclassing to CoT removes BAB problems and feat problems.
Amongst builds multiclassing to rogue I'd favour 1 level, for tumble and UMD. However with the common 14 int WM builds tumble can be picked up cross class anyway.
Overall the CoT based multiclass offers more IMO.
The Kukri master build on the site is amazingly flawless. One slight possible improvement (though it's a matter of taste I'd say) I thought of is to delay power attack and cleave, which means you can take WM levels starting 3 levels sooner. On balance getting the WM bonuses 3 levels sooner seems to outweigh delaying power attack and cleave and the +1 to saves from the fourth CoT level.
