Overlord Smiley sent a lone ship to Ljube's new bases which have been left undefended. Resistance was quickly suppressed and the bases now added to his growing total.

Overlord Chaunk was pleased with his much improved industrial capacity, launching the first Dreadnaught class ships. One was sent towards the defenceless DrSpike...

Warchief Spaced Cowboy went on the warpath, sending a large laser fleet to Smiley who also had a large laser fleet waiting in defence.

Both fleets are very much dead.

Overlords Gamecubed, Kassi, Spikie, Joncha and GeneralTacticus were more peaceful this round, attempting to improve living conditions amongst their people. The more cynical would observe that this was to ramp up thier future military production. However, our builders were not all left in peace.

As Chaunk's dreadnaught steamed towards DrSpike's bases, it noticed a large amount of new production had taken place, a modest fleet of war now patrolling. "Press on the attack, regardless!" ordered the Captain. Unfortunately, DrSpike was testing out some new shield technology and the dreadnaught was no more.

Ljube's fleet also broke the peace, this time above Gamecubed's homeworld.

As seems to be the usual occurance after battle these days, no-one was left alive.

Finally, Overlord Jamski's discovered that his captured bases didn't have enough equipment to make ships. He played NWN instead, killing n00bs and such under the guise of "helping" them.

Ljube has been eliminated.

Something still needs to be worked out with the combat system. I destroyed LL's fleet before he even had the chance to fire his lasers.

Combat 1.1 seems to work better with larger, balanced fleets.

Hmmm, looks like I'll have to erase Jams conquest.
