Rules question: if someone captures your bases, and you survive for whatever reaosn, and later take your bases back, do they count as 'home' bases for you? Or do you need to build new ones for them to count?
I believe in the last game they counted as captured bases, sadly.

That's a bit daft. They should either count as bases before the brackets, or (under the previous game's rules) you should be allowed to build more bases so that you can have the maximum number of home bases even if some of your first six have been captured.
Hang on a minute. So Jamski sent all of his fleet to L-L's bases and L-L sent all of his fleet to Jamski's bases? And Smiley attacked L-L's - now Jamski's - bases and both Smiley's and Jamski's fleet were annihilated?

Well, you could argue that due to having been fought over at least twice, they wouldn't be in much state for full-capacity production... however, given that there is apparently no cap on the number of self-built bases allowed this time, the only real way to exploit this rule is moot.
