Clue #1: Most great japanese mid-nineties Super Nintendo role-playing games (
) excel through excellent storylines and writing combined with interesting set pieces. This game, on the other hand, is at least initially incredibly weakly written. The excuses for going to various stereotypically named dungeons are laughable at times.

Clue #2: The storyline improves marginally when, out of the blue after returning from yet another tower/cave/fortress, an astonishingly long and complex cutscene spanning a whole year plays out. While it doesn't have the character complexity and mythical/literary brilliance of, say, one of the Final Fantasy games, the cutscene does break deeply into soap opera "quality".Världsstad - Dom lokala genrenas vän
