          • None of the above...but this one is gonna ring some bells

For certain a feline is no friend
For one has mankind to defend
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

            • Got to be one of the ringworld games.

              How about "Return to Ringworld?"

                      • The feline thing did ring a bell.

New game below. You better guess it by tomorrow, I got no weekend net access.

Clue #1: Most great japanese mid-nineties Super Nintendo role-playing games () excel through excellent storylines and writing combined with interesting set pieces. This game, on the other hand, is at least initially incredibly weakly written. The excuses for going to various stereotypically named dungeons are laughable at times.

                            • Last clue for the night:

Clue #2: The storyline improves marginally when, out of the blue after returning from yet another tower/cave/fortress, an astonishingly long and complex cutscene spanning a whole year plays out. While it doesn't have the character complexity and mythical/literary brilliance of, say, one of the Final Fantasy games, the cutscene does break deeply into soap opera "quality".
