Hmm, that's same file I downloaded and it works fine for me. The file itself is okay, so something is must be going wrong during the download. (Temporarily) disable any download managers, firewalls, anti-virus software, etc you may have and try downloading the file again.
Maybe it helps if you download the file directly from this link (right-click and Save Target As).
Edit: Also, make sure you actually re-download the file, rather than getting it from your browser cache (if the download goes really quickly, it's coming from your cache; remove your temporary internet files if needed: in IE, Extra > Internet Options > Delete Files).Last edited by Locutus; August 13, 2004, 20:22.

I just downloaded Wes's Medieval Mod 4. I know this has to be a stupid question, but when I unzip the files, there is no installer file that ends with .exe. So what to I do to actually install it. Do I have to manually place all those files in the correct folders?
And, just to confirm . . . when I'm installing the Medieval mod, I don't have to do the Apolyton pack or the Awesome AIP's, right?

Indeed you are supposed to simply put the files in the correct place. I'm afraid I don't have a copy of the MedMod to hand, so I can't tell you what place that is, but you should be able to tell by comparing the names of folders. Also, there should be a readme which explains what you have to do.Last edited by J Bytheway; December 29, 2005, 07:56.

Sorry if I am being dense but I can't get the medieval mod to work. I keep getting various errors when I start a scenario.
I installed the files as recommended at the start of this thread:
"1) CTP
2) CTP 1.2 Patch
3) Civfan 1.21 Hack (found in the Patches part of the Download section along with the 1.2 Patch)
4) Apolyton Pack
which includes: CD's Mod & Graphics, TP's PowerSLIC 2, Harlan's Graphics Mod, Slax's Color00.txt and Zaz & Uppsala's Maps)
5) WesW's Medieval Mod
(which includes Awesome AIPs)"
There are about a dozen readme files contained within the medieval mod but I cannot find clear install instructions. I have tried unzipping the 3 files (mde4_snv, med4_main and med4_pic) into the scenarios folder. However there are multiple folders which are unzipped and try to overwrite each other.
Can anyone provide clear instructions?
