Hello all...what a lot of action in this thread. Great to see al the old names!
I'm playing 3 Ladder games, but not checking the Forums much, and just got your email today. Obviously this is a great idea EPW, and I'm in if you can still use a player.
To save time, if I'm in my votes are as follows:
Map Settings
Map Size: Regular
Map Type: Earth
Map Characteristics(From 0-100%)
Wet/Dry 30%
Warm/Cold 20%
Ocean/Land 30%
Island/Continent 40%
Uniform/Diverse 80%
Few/Many Goods 100%
In-Game Rules
Difficulty: Deity
Barbarians: Ruins Only
Bloodlust: On/Off. (Irrelevant)
Pollution: Off
AI's: Yes/No. If yes, how many? (1-6) NONE
Custom Rules
Do we...
use Quick Start Mod? (3 settlers, 5k gold, 10k pw, 6 advances at start) YES
Allow Ruins? YES
use Dual-Duel format? If this doesn't make the tourney too long.
Alternative Victory Condion(Yes or No): NO
4x Power Victory (Shouldn't be needed with Dual-Duel format)
allow restarts? (Shouldn't be needed with Dual-Duel format) NO (drags things out too much)
allow Wonders? If so, which ones? ALL
allow Nukes? NO

Cuiach, Welcome I'm not sure what format we are going to use now, but I'm not going to stop anyone from joining.

Barbarians: Ruins Only, Roving Bands, Restless Tribes, Raging Hordes TIE->Roving Bands by coin flip.

The best solution with 9-players is a round robin, otherwise at least 1 player is going to get screwed and have to play an extra game. However, this means each player will have to play 16 games(because of the duel-duel format).
However, if GT does decide to play we can do double elimination and cut out ALOT of games."
