I'd like to put a challenge out to Quinn if you're up for another 1 on 1 game. I'm up for any settings, and if I remember right, you prefer not to do the quick start, which is also ok by me.

My challenge match against Cuaich is finally over. He conceded at turn 256. This game has probably been going at least two years and included some serious back and forth before things were decided. A rematch will be started soon.

Simply throw down the gauntlet, call someone out, insult their mother, blow smoke in their face, or post here asking for a game against someone within 3 rungs of the bottom.

A good question! As far as I can tell the last update should be in the second post of this thread but the picture file seems to be missing.

In any case, Addled Platypus resigned as administrator, and Keygen offered to take over and I don't think we've seen an update since.

I'll have a game with you if you like.

I'll have a few questions about specifics and then, hopefully, we can get one started!

I'd edit your email address out of that post if I were you vissario. Enter it as gyllforquerst ta gmail or some such, or the spam-bots will find it.

I propose:

Us + 2 AI's on a large map that is relatively wet, warm, diverse, about half land with a skew toward continents and a moderate amount of goods.

I'm ok either way with whether we play with wonders.

Keygen's mod-lite (accelerated start) and Mathemagician's slic file mods (extra messages re. city growth, enemy bombardment, build queue empty and such).

No use of game bugs such as improvements under cities or build queue ramping.

Whaddya say?

Any settings sounds great. One question, though; how do you load mods onto the game?

HEY! I thought the LOSER was supposed to post the results!? What if my claims at giving up were only that, meant to lull you into a false sense of security before my hidden armies came out to crush your puny forces??



However, in this case, I do indeed capitulate...one fatal mistake (which allowed the London Exchange to be destroyed) and all was lost from that point on. Still, it was a great game of back and forth, including some excellent trash talk. I will be setting up the rematch shortly.
