Was ahead in science most of the game - but he wasn't able to produce enough units due to the size of his nation (both number of cities and population).
Furthermore I did some "shopping" among the AIs, conquering 1-3 cities size 3-4 from each AI. A rather dirty and cheap trick, but it boosts your growth
. And as long as you have just a little more advances than the AIs, then you are able to decide when to end those skirmishes, so no problems with them
.I can recommend him as an excellent opponent with a very high turnrate (119 turns in less than 2 months). There will be a rematch soon.
