That's your point of view, berX.

IIRC, we gifted techs in both directions when we were still at peace. I considered them trades. This was long before I had traded with anyone else.

We both had settlements on that island when we met. All that was unclear was were exactly the border would be. (That is if you were interested in such a thing as a border.)

Apparently rejecting a map exchange is considered a provocation by you as it resulted in you declaring war on me, ending our "cooperative arrangement".

As far as I remember, you were at war with ricketyclik (blue) already before any techs were gifted to me by others.

That's the one thing in there that is remotely believable.

I may be out of the game, berXpert, but I'm still subscribed to the thread.

Just fitting and generic enough to let everyone think what they prefer to think.
          Smart move.

          • I tried settling some of these settlers Math had wandering around, but I get an immediate CTD. Am I missing any files?

                • Try this, EPW.

The attached file contains 2 more ZIPs.
The "43" file is the modified one, the other one is the backup of the default files. If you have modified your files yourself, you may want to make a backup of these files first.

To install the files, copy the ZIPs into the same folder where the folder "ctp_data" is located. You can then install the modified "43" or the default version by simply unzipping the appropriate ZIP from there, with overwrite.

You will need the "43" to play my civ in Peaceful Noodle. You can use those files for other games too, but then the additional civ "Dornheimer" may show up in other games you start. If you don't want that, just install the default files before starting a new game.

I hope that's okay for you. It's quite easy after a while, I think.

                  • It works now, thanks. I guess it was crashing because I didn't have a list of "Dornheimer" city names.

Too late (220am here) to play tonight, will send tommorow.
