I think Mathemagician and I stepped on his toes a little and he doesn't want to deal with our obsessive/compulsiveness--which I'm sure can be irritating. We just play a little differenly because Math and I are only in a few games and we get all hyper about details whereas Troll seems to play in many many games and doesn't want to get caught up in details. Both of which are fine ways to play, I think. But it just lead to some miscommunication, I guess. For my part . . . I wish he'd reconsider . . . with the understanding of course that he'll have to shrug off our annoyingness sometimes.

The misunderstanding was over some techs that we gifted to him which he may or may not have subsequently traded to the Vikings (part of the "friendly opposition" alliance). We were just sad to see our tech lead disappear (no offense to the Viking/Spaniard/Aussie alliance of course . . . ).

Maybe you can try emailing the turn to him and put a little note in the email that says he should just email you back if he's really decided to drop the game. That way we can give him a last chance so it doesn't seem like we're trying to dump him. Then we can hunt for a substitute, I guess.

I do take things seriously I just didnt see where I wasnt suppossed to keep using them

I do apologise for sometimes when I come in I am beat and play a turn which in some cases is every 3-4 weeks or longer and I do pay attention to details

But

In the spirit of gaming if you can forgive me for being a spy come in from the cold who left the door open I reckon I can forgive myself for having feelings about stoppid things like integrity

Send it to him hatschy! And take down the recruitment post, Math! We want to redeem ourselves and be "good" alliance buddies. Not "obsessive compulsive" alliance snobs.

As Troll rightly pointed out in his email to us . . . I think the real problem was just that he's in 90 games while Math and I are in something more like <10 games. So we just need to be aware of that when we're dealing with each other.

Before I make the next statements. Understand I really am not pissed or anything at all. I am only playing the game the way I play it. unemotional.

Ok, thehappies I have had enough. you moved a ship along my coast and asked you to leave, than I gave you a no treapass, asked you to leave again and you rejected it. Then had the balls (I admire that too, smile) to ask me if it was ok to continue mapping my coast and I told you no, Now you moved more along my coast even though I told I do not like people mapping my coast. then you tell me to give you a no trespass so you can move away but you take one more peak anyway and land a warrior to look at more of my land. I consider that continued mapping after several requests to be an unreasonable aciton on your part as far as empires are concerned. I believe in the real workd you would be apprehended and detained by any nation in this world, and maybe executed for spying, so last chance because you have ignored it twice/3 times now. you either move that ship away with its warrior or I will sink it. In the lower part of my empire you also have an additional long ship mapping my coast also even though I have been asking, so now onemore thing you continue to do. if I catch your ships in my waters again I will sink them. Before you tell me I am being ureasonable, ask any player here if they will tolerate anyone else mapping them. Your ally green put ships in front of me and I moved away without him asking me. I understood what he wanted, he did not have to ask. You continue even after you have been asked and move an additional ship to map me in another area. If this makes all attack me, then so be it, but no nation should be forced to allow or tolerate someone mapping them. I do not want you or your ally knowing where to do attacks that will at some point take place in this game.

Back to the friendly guy. Don;t get pissed, only the dictator talking through me, smile.
