Your ships had me pinned and I couldn't move my ship away. I tried to . . . but there was no place to go. Since I didn't have a no trespassing request to allow me to magically transport back to the nearest city, I was stuck. So just because I was stuck there with no way out, I ended up stirring up a little trouble when I realized I had a warrior in there. Idle hands are the devils workshop . . .

Did you send me a no trespass this turn? If not and I'm still blocked in . . . then I can't move my ship even if I want to.

A no trespass would not work because you are in the only 2 squares around you that do not belong to a city. I did move away.
My main point is still valid after I asked you to stop mapping you did it anyway, twice in the same turn. the warrior and and long ship in the south. my warning still stands. mapping a foriegn is an act of war. I did not do that, you did.

p.s. If I sign a no trespassing with you, I'm still going to be mapping the edges of your continent, but without entering your waters and breaking the agreement. Is that ok? I gotta explore somehow. I was trying to keep the longboat from annoying you by keeping away from the shore. I at least need to know where continents/islands are and how I can navigate around the world to get to my allies . . . and my non-allied buddies too . . .

basically, with your ally, as soon as I find him I move away. I found his city and went the other direction, I did not continue trying to find his coast. So I am not asking you to do something I am not already doing myself. mapping the world is one thing, mapping me is another. a no trespass will keep you and I away from each other, but my threat still stands. I catch you mapping my coaastline and cities I will fight back.

agreed. i'll stay outta your waters as per the no trespassing agreement. but i'll be looking for unsettled territory, channels between continents where you may have settled on either side, etc. i'll try to be as non-provoking as possible while still conducting useful exploration. my first inclination if i stumble upon you is not to move away, but to find your "edges". I want to know where you've settled up to so I can see if there are unsettled places that I might be interested in. a difference in style perhaps. . . mine might be a little more provoking, but not necessarily meant to be so.

my threat still stands, but I will hold back before an attack. A difference is style, yes. I choose not to provoke until I want to attack. Well here is something to think about, because this is the way I look at it. if someone does something provoking I am forced to build units to keep them at bay. At some point I have a large army eating up my production capacity and so........ It has to be used..........

to dancemasseuse: Thanks for letting me out. You still didn't send me a no trespass though. It would be a lot easier for me to not "invade" your waters if you'd send me a no trespass. Otherwise I'm never really sure where they are until I see one of your cities. If I'm not sure where your cities are, I'm just going to go up to the coast and see if I see one. If not . . . goodie perhaps there is some open territory. If I do see one, I'll back off and continue on my way. If you don't want me to do this near your cities, please send me a no trespass.
