Lonestar,
Wait a minute.
I went back through the whole BAC story, and I remember you posting something about a Stargate on Beta Hydri 4 or 5 (forgot the #).
Also, I remember Stargates being mentioned in the BAC Datalinks.
I'm just trying to close up all plot loopholes by eliminating the Goa'uld.
There aren't any Asgard, Nox, Tollan, or any Stargate aliens because they were all eliminated or driven out of our galaxy in the 21st century.
The Goa'uld will be all wiped out, so there won't be any Goa'uld or Tok'ra anymore.
The only things left of the Stargates would be the gateways themselves.
Its a simple and clean-cut solution to the Stargate stuff in the Datalinks and on Beta Hydri.
On another note, I could change the Genesis thing to a different name. The concept remains the same.
It *is* possible in the BAC universe, with nano-technology, and powerful power generators to generate proto-matter.
In many ways, BAC's level of technology surpasses the technology in Star Trek. The only thing Star Trek has that BAC doesn't have are shields and teleporters.
Trek ships don't have nano-hulls, neutronium armor, artificial intelligence on a large scale (Only 3 true AI's in Star Trek... Data, Nomad, and Voyager's Doc).
So a human civilization or nations in 2700 AD, with all the technology available in BAC... the Genesis concept is possible.
I don't plan on including any other cross-overs anytime soon. The only two I'm guilty of is Stargate (just to tie up the Stargate stuff mentioned in earlier posts and datalinks).... and Star Trek (the Genesis concept).
I remember we were talking about a "massive threat" that could happen after the Progenitors. I had one enemy in mind... the Antarans.
But other than that, I'm pretty much finished with obvious cross-overs.
So, relax, Lonestar.
