MY 2149 to Hobbes
This turn GeoModder captured a Conclave base in which he started building a laser submarine (already recaptured in case you want to look at it yourself). I checked his F7 Military Nexus which showed that he had already lost four of those units, meaning unless the numbers are wrong (it happens sometimes) Geo has built two laser notsosubmarines. While we had agreed not to build those damn preset units - keeping them AI only. Reason being that that unit messes up the tech tree: it reduces the need to research Neural Grafting and better weapon technologies if it's more cost-effective to mass-build cheap submarines.
I've lost rather important units to an attack by a Gaian laser submarine. No problem of course if that 'sub' was one of his original two, but it would suck if that attack hadn't happened if Geo hadn't forgotten about the no-build rule.
So could I please ask everyone to confirm that they've not built any laser submarines?Comment
