wow Excellent-- That was a fast turnaround . . but unfortunately I'll have to hang up the turn for 10 hours or so again. If I don't have it by 6 a.m. there is just no way for me to play it until after 8 p.m. or so .

oh nope-- I am in North American Mountain time so GMT is +7 compared to me ( Think Denver instead of New York) -- so 6 a.m. would be 1 p.m.
In any event. . . I just thought I would mention it so you know there's no hurry on weekdays once you miss my early playing slot .. .

But yeah, I'm enjoying this turn arround. Games are so much more interesting when you see a turn a day, especially at this stage.
So true-- once the game gets advanced I don't mind delays since you want to do diplomacy and the turn can take a long time . . . but right now, these 5 minute turns are nice to see on a regular basis

Would it be possible for us to arrange a 2-hour period where we're all online and throw turns between us at speed? I'm feeling lonely with just me and the worms.

Its possible I guess but in two hours you might only get through 3 turns a player ( assuming 10 minutes average a turn to play and send)

I think Senethro means IP?
Either way, I think it's extremely unlikely, due mainly to Flubber's unavailability when I'm available, and vice versa.
While I'm aware that IP games can be turned into hotseat, can it go the other way round? That wasn't what I was meaning, anyway.
I was more suggesting us wasting time mashing the F5 button in the pursuit of speeding past the early game.

Yes it can-- we did two bouts of IP IIRC in AXT042 which was the first tournament game I played. There are a number of necessary steps to do it correctly (like insuring the right person plays the last PBEM turn since otherwise you can get a "lost turn" etc

I'm not sure what you mean here. If you are referring to trying to find a way to speed up the early game , I am with you but I don't understand your reference to F5

Oh and I just figured out this game is not on transcend level. I brought a unit back into a base to avoid the second worker becoming a drone and then say I had two content citizens with nothing else needed. I subsequently checked the SE switch change and it gives me 24 ec-- SO are we playing two levels below transcend ??
I don't minf but it does change drone control a LOT

I am definatly playing on transcend difficulty though. Definatly had a drone at size 2 last turn, although I haven't checked the SE switch cost. I guess the force current difficulty flag wasn't checked, or didn't quite work as expected.
