i wont be near my pc with smac on it before january 26th. i have to set some things up in rl

if you decide you cant wait that long, i will find a way to get a smac copy to carry around (--> i dont want to give up my empire to some n00b ).

Bearhugger, holding the game from 14 dec - 26 jan is pretty long, especially for those who don't play other pbem's at the same moment.

But, real life takes precedence. If you really can't play, you can't play. If however, you have acces to a pc/laptop and internet at least once in a week, you'll be fine. The turns in this game don't take so much time yet (maximum 10 minutes).

problem is, i can only go online on a friends machine, so it might not be possible to install smac there.
but since maia is getting nervous, ill find a way to make my turns.

that reminds me, i had one in 28 because i clicked on maia and demanded him/her to retreat all forces from my territory. well...AI declared war on me. thats why i reloaded once.

but please, everyone, dont reload pods. that way you can easily win with no casualties by reloading to get clones and free scout rovers. not fun.
