I don't like doing this when it's taken me so long to even get around to playing the turn as it is, when there's so much going on IRL, but given the circumstances, I have to check.

I need confirmation please on the radius of protection an Aerospace Complex gives against airdrops. I have 2 Aerospace Complexes (One with only 1 tile between the bases, one with 3 tiles between) close to a base that had a unit airdropped into it. IIRC, this shouldn't be possible, but it's been a long time since it's come up in a game, and I can't seem to find the reference the the protection radius anywhere in the manuals, help files, or on the forums. I know it's possible to bypass that protection through the airdrop bug, but I don't want to start throwing around any accusations without confirmation that I've got my facts right (though for the record, I'd assume it would've been an accidental use of the bug anyway, not intentional).

IIRC, it's a 2 hex raduis in all directions from the base hex. I'm well aware of the airdrop bug but I don't see how it applies here. I think you should check the position again. You are the governor so you have infiltration. If you really can't figure out which hex was used for my airdrop I'll be happy to inform the CMN. I assume you do recall that a combat troop has regular movement after dropping and that a road makes drop troops pretty mobile.

Now, I was thinking it's a 3 hex radius, which is why I wanted to check this. If it's 3, there's no way you could have got in legit. If it's 2, then I see one valid drop location.

Lomonosov Park (which you captured), Library of Planet and Nauk Science Center all had Aerospace Complexes. Lomonosov Park was behind the first two, 6 tiles away from Otkrietia Discovery, which your only valid location to launch a drop from on that turn.

Oh well, in any case, it won't really change the result of my turn all that much. Your attack on the eastern front has been beaten back utterly. It'll take a while to mop you up, but without any needlejets left to attack me there, and with you unable to provide backup, your weak 1-1-1 and 1-3-1 drop troops will fall soon enough.

It's a 2 hex, so it is possible for an infantry with just 1 movement to drop then move along 3 squares of roads to capture a base. This war sounds fun
