SMAC/X PBEMs have been trending to more and longer gaps in play. For me it's gotten to the point that I've lost the feel for the game. Maybe I just need a break and I'll be back sometime down the road. I love this game but I just don't like having to re-inventing my strategy so often. Sorry to leave mid game; it's been a pleasure.
BTW, my position is pretty good and any replacement should be very happy with it.

It's a shame you don't enjoy this game anymore. I was looking forward to how the conflict between us would shake out, and had been intensely planning how to deal with a Free Drone juggernaut.
