It's not an auto-notify script, the script that I talked about earlier was me typing "check" in a shell window and my script outputing the last 50 lines of the turntracking thread.

Recently, now I'm not so busy, I just check http://www.apolyton.com/forums/forum...p?s=&forumid=6 regularly around the time the turn is up to the morganites. I keep a watch to see if the person comes online and then start checking more regularly once I've seen that they're online.

Well yeah, I'm now online, but I use a LILO system on my turns, so this'll be the last one out. Don't expect it within an hour.

I'm having fun screwing with the years. You see, 12 years on Chiron ~= 13 years on Earth, and the Believers, being a backward sort, start counting years at 1 (instead of 0). So the year 2121 is the 20th local year since it is ~19 local years after 2100, or the 1st local year.

It's marked as 2121 in the email.
