What's up with the pop-up spam? I tried to authenicate my login as asked, but it doesn't work. And every time I open a page, I get 2-4 of those. What's this legacy thing anyway?

We will have more skins/styles/templates as we have time to make them (or people volunteer to help )

I'm working on a blue background skin now, but there are a lot of little things that take changing, including graphics.

I also am (using, in fact) a blue foreground style, though that is much further down the list of things to make production-grade (again, it looks pretty dumb without the blue icons). Blue background is first on the list since dark background is more important.

When I posted the Quick Reply, NONE of the 3 quotes displayed as quotes. When I edited the post and previewed it, the whole preview page was blank. I fixed the quotes by ... changing the first quote's tags to "q" instead of "QUOTE", but then had to just save it, since the preview was still wonked.

They're better on the electric bill and environment also, slightly.

Actually, dark backgrounds are better for your vision, also.

Black print over yellow page are good. Probably a bit bright on an RGB monitor, so perhaps a pale yellow (like post-it, or, on a mac, Stickies).
Light print over a dark background could be a terminal disease of the forum.

It was not in jest, no. From what I understand, light print on dark background is actually better for your vision (black, in particular) because less light is hitting your eyes.

I've seen a couple of sites like that. They were NOT easy on the eyes!

For example, check out
killerbeesoftware.com, the Empire Deluxe company. The color scheme is not good for substantial amounts of reading, though okay for a few lines.

I have to log in every time I visit, even if I checked "remember me" on my last visit. Anyone else having that problem? I'm using Firefox 3.0.5, if that helps.

Sorry to hear you are having this problem...it is not an issue for me, same FF ver.

Curious to know: On the tools screen, "Clear Private Data", have you ticked "cookies" to be cleared?? That would cause this to happen. It blows out all cookies including your "remember me" ones.
