They have made me verify every vote every day so far.....

Maybe the PNG IP number has got them suspicious?
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Same here, but I dont remember the first day doing so, hope that wont negate that first days voting

The second day I had to mark the verification "as not junk"...normally I just delete the junk folder

              Ditto with me. Every day
... makes me confident that my vote COUNTS.

On the OTHER (more localized) scene, I voted already. Just once, last Monday.

I've had only 2 verifications (out of all, that's 9 or something?). The first one was lost in my spam folder, but I digged it up and now it's counted

                  170.000 sounds like a lot!!
But if there's 10 days of voting, then that's 17000 per day. There are like 16 categories? That's 1000 per categorie, 100 on avg per category per participant. THAT's STILL A LOT!!!!

There are 22 categories in all. Earlier on the site, they had indicated that the average number of categories being voted on per vote was 14.

I just got the 'verify vote' dealy too. I sent them back an email saying "of course I voted, I don't want to miss out on the free Apolyton T-Shirt".

I continue to vote every day. I'm getting a confirmation email 2 out of every 3 days... you would think that once they had confirmed a specific email address, they would stop with this silliness
                              Keep on Civin'
