            Also voting has been intense with over 170,000 people voting each day. Average number of categories being voted on by each voter is

                The fact that PolyCast was successfully nominated in both of the categories sought, the first time such nomination was sought no less, tells me that it can be done.

                If we as PolyCast listeners, guest co-hosts and regular co-hosts do as much as we can within the rules of the voting, this can be done too. We're giving it our best shot (hopefully!) and we'll see what becomes of it.

                              According to a news item on the website of another podcast nominated for this year's awards, a total 1,874 podcasts were nominated for it. I am uncertain where they obtained this number from as I haven't seen it disclosed officially, and it's considerably lower than what was said officially about last year, but nevertheless: wow.
