Just shy of our tenth anniversary and amidst a flurry of Civilization: Revolution review reports, Apolyton reached another milestone: today we posted the 10,000th news item in our history! (And the 10,001st, 10,0002nd, etc -- the news item you`re reading right now is number 10,010.)

This includes all of the news in our current news system (8705 stories), 1012 news items that pre-date our current software and 293 news items from CivGroup News. You can still read most of these stories from either our News Centre or our CivGroup News, with most of the stories that pre-date the current system still being available through our newsletter archive (if you dig deep enough you can may still be able to find them in web-form on our oldest site sections as well).

Our eternal thanks go out to all of our current and past news editors who helped write all these stories, as well as everyone who contributed to our CivGroup news and all those who provided us with tips of news events over the years -- we wouldn`t have gotten this far without your help!
