THE AGE OF WAR BEGINS ANEW!
(17 October 2008, 09:37 | Scenario League / Civ2-Creation)

SL forum veteran, Exile has re-released his classic MGE scenario 'Age of War'! This epic allows the player to
take control of an industrial power in 1900 and then play for total dominance of Europe! Minor powers struggle
to survive alongside mighty powerhouses like Russia and Germany!

It features generic units and abstracts many details, but as is usual with Exile's you have the feeling that
there is tons to conquer and achieve - The warmongering 'one more turn' addiction rules the day when playing
'Age of War'! And that is not all! Now Exile has released this improved version, with many overhauls to
graphics and gameplay. AOW now not only looks great, it flow much better! Check out the changes log for
details, as much has been edited.

Check out the thread, download the scenario and give feedback - Recommended to fans of industrial era war! - curtsibling

A YEAR OF POLYPLUS FREE?
(12 October 2008, 08:14 | BtS Tri-League) Well - thats what Game 25 of the Beyond the Sword Tri League Tournament is offering.

As a special prize for the 25TH(!!) game of the tournament we (well DanQ) are offering a 4 month subscription for the winner of the Novice League, a 8 month subscription to the winner of the Intermediate League, and one full years subscription to the winner of the Advanced League!

So - the setup.

Can you lead Alexander to victory in this "City State" game. On a crowded map you will only have room to create a handful of cities - and from there the decisions need to be made.

Will you follow the diplomatic or warmonger path?

Will you choose the Pen or the Sword?

To complicate things a bit, No Tech Brokering and No City Razing has been enabled.

Many thanks to EPW for the idea for this game.

SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL
(22 September 2008, 09:04 | BtS Tri-League) And Game 24 brings you a small OCC game.

As Saladin, can you achieve victory with one city state? - Nugog
