CivRev is Civ and as such our 'core business', Spore isn't and we don't cover it at all beyond that forum (much like with Paradox and Nation States, although we'll almost certainly be killing those). We'll probably end up moving the Spore forum to underneath Other Games, it's just a matter of deciding whether Other Games will be in the same category as Off-Topic, or become a category of its own right (under which MoO and RoN etc would be moved as well). Give us 24 hours...

Step 2) Upgrade to vBulletin 3
Step 3) Re-implement useless features intelligently in a modular design so as to minimally interfere with future updates

For those interested in such behavior, I direct you to the memoir of Heda Kovaly, a Czech author who survived Auschwitz and Lodz only to have her husband falsely accused and murdered by the communists who took control of her country. Just go through her book and replace 'Czechoslovakia' with 'Apolyton,' 'Arrest' with 'ban,' and 'parasitism' with 'criticism.'
Let's thank our lucky stars God put Locutus and co in charge of Apolyton and not a whole country.

Now until you two (Asher and Wiglaf) have anything meaningful and constructive to say in a civil manner, I'm not gonna respond any longer to any comments from you guys on this issue. If you want to actually impact our decision making process (which we've been more open to with this restructuring than ever before) trolling is hardly the best way to get us to respect your viewpoints. If you had any grain of common sense in you you'd know that, but sadly you seem more interested in playing games. Your loss.Comment

There's no way I can impact your "decision making process". You guys do the most consistently dim-witted **** without end. I'm pretty sure you do the opposite from what I say just because you don't like how I say it, then try to defend how stupid that was.
I've given you many valid issues that ought to be addressed. Most of them are incredibly trivial. For instance, removing the styling tag from the buttons is a 1 or 2 line change in a file. But you guys don't even consider it.
Many of the other issues are fundamental design issues. Which, to me, indicates there's not a single competent software design person on your entire staff. Which is a shame since there are half a dozen or so people I know of on this site that could do it. And I'm pretty sure 99% of this site could tell you that hacking up vBulletin 2 beyond belief such that you couldn't upgrade is a dumb idea...
